There are a lot of tricks in Google Search. So many in fact, we end up missing a lot of them. Tonight a user on Reddit has pointed out another trick, and it’s pretty awesome…
We don’t know how long this has been active, but apparently, Google Search now has a built-in RGB to HEX color converter. To access it you can do one of two things. The first is to simply type in “RGB to HEX,” which will immediately pull up the converter. Worth noting is the fact that “HEX to RGB” doesn’t work.
However, there is no way to input a specific value using that method. To convert a specific color, you’ll need to type something similar to “RGB (255, 255, 255)” or a HEX code such as #D4FFDB.
As an added bonus, you can also see HSV, HSL, and CMYK color values on the widget’s drop-down menu.
