Google launched its Crowdsource app for Android back in 2016 as a way to let users help train the company’s various services. Now, Google has updated the app to add a Crowdsource leaderboard for its most active users as well as some other new features.
Crowdsource lets users perform “simple tasks” like translation validation or handwriting recognition to improve Google services. Google today updated the Android app with a new logo and other tweaks to the design.
Millions of people rely on Google’s services daily, whether that’s Google Maps, Google Translate, or even just Google Search. Now the company is asking for users help to further improve those services, just a few seconds at a time. Users can do this by helping out with image transcription, handwriting recognition, translation, translation validation, and maps translation validation.
