Lenovo is apparently working on an updated version of its unique Yoga Book

Back in 2016, Lenovo tried something really unique with the launch of its Yoga Book, a convertible laptop/tablet that had a fully touch keyboard instead of a physical one. It was a futuristic concept, but one that the company hasn’t done much with since. Now, though, it appears the company is working on a successor of some sort.

There aren’t many good tablets running Android these days, but one is certainly Lenovo’s unique Yoga Book. With a futuristic keyboard, useful stylus, and crazy design, it certainly turns heads. Today at Lenovo’s annual Tech World event, the company has announced two new color options for the tablet hybrid.

However, it wasn’t anywhere near perfect. Lenovo’s Yoga Book Android tablet ships October 17th, pre-orders open now

Following its announcement at IFA 2016, Lenovo has officially opened up pre-orders for the Yoga Book. For now pre-orders are only available via Lenovo’s website with shipments kicking off on October 17th.

One of the highlights of IFA 2016 last week, at least from Lenovo, was the company’s very unique 2-in-1, the Yoga Book. Running your choice of Android or Windows, the Yoga Book brings a 10.1-inch display on one side, with a special touchpad which doubles as a keyboard on the opposite side. Lenovo has put a skin atop Android to let it take better advantage of the hardware, but at first glance, the Yoga Book seems better suited to run on Chrome OS, and apparently, Lenovo has the same idea…
