Pebble is counting down for something in 4 days, perhaps an Android phone

Pebble is counting down for something on September 23rd. We’re not quite sure what the semi-smart watchmaker is up to and at this point we’re a little afraid to ask. Thankfully we’ll know in a few days.

Update: Oh this is interesting. Looks like Pebble could be launching a phone (thanks Marciplan) The current http://getpebble.com/pebble_phone URL redirects to an April 1st joke – get Pebblet.

If Pebble is doing a phone it will probably be Android so there’s that.

Pebble Time now available at Best Buy, coming to Target next month

Update: It looks like you can also snag the Pebble Time from Amazon now, too.

If you’re not a huge fan of platform-segregated accessories, you’re probably also the kind of person that would go for a Pebble smartwatch over the likes of the Android-only Moto 360 or the iOS-only Apple Watch. And if you’re that kind of person and haven’t yet grabbed the new smartwatch-with-a-color-ePaper-display, you now have a couple more retail outlets to pick from.

Google is beginning to roll out a new feature in Gmail today that will allow users to quickly and easily create or add an event to Google Calendar without ever leaving their inbox. Once the feature has been enabled, users will be able to click the date and time within emails to add or create an Google Calendar entry using the data from the email (as pictured above). The calendar entry  can be edited before added and will also automatically include a link back to the original email for reference:

When you click on one of these underlined dates, you’ll be able to preview your schedule for the day and change the title, date or time of the event. Clicking “Add to Calendar” will do exactly that — add the event to your calendar, and for extra convenience, the calendar event will include a link back to the original email.

Keep an eye out for the new feature rolling out to everyone using the English (US) language setting over the next week.
