OneNote-Online-Print

After watching around 12 million people download Office apps for the iPad, Microsoft has finally decided to bring its popular software suite to the Chrome Web Store. Starting today, Chrome users can download web-friendly versions of Word, OneNote and PowerPoint Online. Absent from Microsoft’s Office lineup is Excel, which the company says will be available in the near future.

In addition to bringing its productivity tools to the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft has made a few enhancements to its set of applications. OneNote Online now has printing support, while PowerPoint Online’s text editor has received an upgrade and it’s now easier to add footnotes and lists to a Word project. If you’ve been looking for an alternative to Google’s in-house offerings, Office Online might be worth a try.
