AT&T has today announced that the ZTE Spro 2 smart projector will be available through the carrier on April 24th. Featuring a 5-inch touch screen that basically acts as a built-in smartphone, the device easily lets you project your content straight from the projector itself and can even double as a handy WiFi hotspot…

Deal: Get Pixelbook at 25% off: $750!

One of the biggest downsides of the device is that it runs 2013’s Android KitKat, but it packs a lot of features hoping to make up for where it falls short in software. The projector has 4G LTE compatibility, a huge 6,300 mAh battery, projects at 200 lumens with 1280 x 720 resolution, and has both a micro SD card slot and a USB port on board, as well as HDMI output.

While having a smartphone-projector combo is nice for business trips and the like, the device is equally as useful for its mobile hotspot features. The device’s battery will last several hours (or days) without using the projector, and ZTE says that you can connect up to 10 devices to the WiFi hotspot at once.

AT&T says that you’ll be able to add the Spro 2 projector to your Mobile Share Value plan for an additional $10 per month, and that the device is going to cost $399.99 with a two-year contract. If you want to go without the contract, you can expect to pay just $100 more.
