Pushbullet is an application that links your phone and computer together and gives you the power to not only respond to to text messages from your desktop but also send and receive links, files, and much more between all of your devices. Starting today, you will now be able to also respond to Google Allo messages right from your computer.
Announced today on Pushbullet’s blog, Google Allo is the latest messaging application to work with the service’s notification mirroring. Google made Allo a mobile-only messaging service so there is not yet an official way to actually send messages from your desktop until now.
If you want to try it for yourself, the first thing you need to do is download the Pushbullet application from the Play Store and enable notification mirroring once you have installed the app. Then simply download the companion Chrome extension or Windows desktop application and sign in with the same account as you used on your phone. Now, if setup properly, anytime you receive an Allo notification, you will be able to simply reply directly from your computer.
You can grab Pushbullet on the Play Store for free.
