SamsungOne font becomes the company’s official universal typeface for all of its products

Following Google and Apple, Samsung is the latest company to design its own font to represent its brand. SamsungOne is a universal typeface that will be featured on everything from smartphones to appliances. Reflecting the company’s global presence, SamsungOne is a family of scripts that covers 26 writing systems, more than 400 languages, and over 25,000 glyphs.

Everything points to a March 12th launch date for the Verizon Nexus 6

It’s been a long time coming for the Verizon Nexus 6, but several new pieces of information that popped up this morning and over the weekend (including a quote straight from a Verizon customer service representative) suggest that the device should be seeing a public launch—at least via Internet sales channels—on March 12th. We now have some information on pricing as well, and it looks like the device might just be shipping with Android 5.1 on the Big Red…

AT&T rumored to include its branding on Nexus 6 back

According to a recent rumor, AT&T plans to include its carrier branding on the back of the Nexus 6 (via Android Police). The image, taken from AT&T’s Business Direct page, shows the AT&T branding just below the beginning of “NEXUS” on the non-removable back. It’s not totally unsightly, but most people who buy a Nexus device expect it to include the Nexus branding, the manufacturer’s branding, and nothing else.
