Xiaomi has been using Android TV in India for quite a while, but the company’s offerings have lacked popular services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. This week, the company confirmed five different models which will get both services before the year ends.
Android TV’s Pie update has been finally hitting popular hardware such as the Nvidia Shield recently, and it seems another update is incoming. Xiaomi’s Mi TV 4 series is reportedly going to get an Android Pie update in September.
At an event in Beijing this morning, Xiaomi unveiled its latest huge TV. The Mi TV 3S is the company’s newest Android TV and comes with a large, curved 65-inch panel made by Samsung and measures an impossible 5.9mm thin. For reference, that’s thinner than practically every smartphone on the market.
