YouTube debuts new Trends Map to show where popular videos are being watched

YouTube introduced a new way to see which videos are popular in your area today through trend maps.

Google supplies a vast library of demographics information on its YouTube Dashboard, and now visual mapping is an additional and fun option.

Interestingly, the new trends map gives you a look at the cultural differences across America as country music artist Alan Jackson is trending in Georgia while a trailer for True Bloods is trending in California.

YouTube says the trends map is limited to the United States at launch will we should expect more locations soon.
