The watch comes in two sizes and be available for $275 later this year with an Intel processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. Charging is handled via pillow-like wireless charger and like the Moto 360 has an always-on “flat tire” displays.
Ever since stepping into the smartwatch game, Fossil has always been a fashionable alternative to fan favorites like the Moto 360 or G Watch R. The new Q, collaboratively designed with acclaimed National Geographic photographer Cory Richards, keeps in that tradition and runs Android Wear 2.0 to boot.
Last year, Fossil announced their first Android Wear device and today, they are following up the Q Founder with the Q Wander and Q Marshal. Fossil is known for their high-end premium watches and these wearables continue on the same path and design.
Fossil officially released its very first Android Wear watch a couple of weeks ago. Fossil, one of the world’s best-known fashion brands has teased an upcoming set of wearables which should be available by the time this year’s holiday shopping season swings by. Fossil Q is a range of connected devices made up of three separate products. There will be a connected bracelet (think Jawbone UP), a connected non-display watch (think Withings Activité) and a connected display watch (traditional touchscreen smartwatch). The latter of these three is the one we’re really interested in here, since it will run Android Wear when it hits the market later this year.
