Nexus 7 and 10 reportedly set to get Android 5.0 Lollipop on Nov. 3, Nexus 4 and 5 to follow

Following this morning’s report that Android Wear 2.0 would drop on November 3rd, Android Police now reports that Google is planning to release Android 5.0 Lollipop to a trio of Nexus devices on that same day. The report claims that Lollipop will hit the 2012 WiFi-only Nexus 7, the 2013 WiFi-only Nexus 7, and the Nexus 10 on November 3rd.

Notably missing from that small list are both the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. According to Android Police’s sources, hardware with cellular capabilities will have to wait a bit longer for Android L updates at first, simply due to the more work that goes into the update process. The report says, however, that the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and LTE Nexus 7 should start to receive Android L updates by the end of November.

Google’s new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are both set to be released in November, with the latter of the two set for release on November 3rd, as well. It’s also already available on Amazon for pre-order.
