There are two notable Google smart home deals right now: a discounted Nest Wifi Pro 4-pack and the $20 Chromecast with Google TV HD.
While Google and other retailers only sell the Nest Wifi Pro in 1, 2, or 3-unit configurations, Costco offers a 4-pack that’s currently $299.97 at some stores.
Normally, the 3-pack retails for $399.99 and the 2-pack is $299.99, while the solo is $199.99. On discount, the 2-pack is $249.99 and the 3-pack is currently $339.99. At Costco, you’re basically getting another Nest Wifi Pro and paying $40 less.
This sale is not available at all locations, with the “.97” considered an indicator that a product is on clearance at Costco. For example, it’s still priced at $449.99 online.
Meanwhile, after going on sale at $19.99, stock of the Chromecast with Google TV HD has returned.
Last week, Google discounted the HD Chromecast by $10 and that led to the streaming device going out of stock at various retailers, including Amazon and the Google Store. As of today, it’s back in both locations, though shipping might be delayed. This deal ends April 28, 2024.
We reported yesterday that Google is working on a new 4K Chromecast. It remains to be seen what the lineup will look like once this new generation is introduced. Google releasing an even cheaper Google TV device two years after the 2020 model emphasized how affordability is the priority.
