Google is offering $20 Play Store credits to Canadian Chromecast/Chromecast Audio owners

There are already a lot of good reasons to own a Chromecast, and from time to time Google gives us yet another. Free offers seem to be constantly coming with the Chromecast, including everything from free Spotify and Google Play Music trials to free rentals over on Google Play. Sadly though, most of these offers are limited to US owners. To show a little love for our friends up north, Google now has an offer exclusive for users in Canada.

Through September 8, users in Canada who own a Chromecast or Chromecast Audio can head over to Google’s Chromecast offers page a redeem a $20 credit for Google Play. Once that has been redeemed, users can use this credit for anything from movies to music and so much more. It’s unclear if this is just for owners of the second generation Chromecast, although it does seem that some owners of the original model are seeing the deal.

So far it seems that this is an exclusive offer to Canada, so get it while you can! Also worth noting is that it seems this offer can be stacked, meaning if you own multiple Chromecasts, you can redeem the credit more than once. Along with this, Google is also offering a 90-day trial for Google Play Music for Chromecast owners, so you could also redeem that if you’d like.
