It’s not just you: Lots of Google services are down right now

Update: Looks like everything is back online.

That’s what I get for praising Google’s services yesterday. As of the time of this writing (10 AM PT), it looks like lots of them, including Google+, Google Drive, Google Photos, Hangouts, and more, are experiencing intermittent errors. In most cases these sites and apps are completely down.

Thankfully it appears the most crucial of them all, Gmail, is completely fine (with the exception of some Hangouts problems). Google Calendar, another crucial service for many people, also seems to be up and functioning as normal.

Let us know what’s down and up for you. As usual, Google’s App Status page is mostly worthless.
