LG V20 reportedly set to go on sale October 21st in the US

LG wasn’t very specific about the launch timeframe for the LG V20 when it announced the phone a couple of weeks ago, but now we have our first clear idea of when those in the US might actually be able to buy it. Mentioned in a report about the Galaxy Note 7 this morning from the ever-reliable Evan Blass, it appears LG is planning to make the LG V20 available on October 21st…

Per Blass’ VentureBeat report:

Carriers in the United States are preparing for a relaunch on Friday, October 21, according to a planning document obtained by VentureBeat.

That’s the same day sales of LG’s second half flagship, the dual-screened V20, are scheduled to begin in the U.S.

It’s worth mentioning that this is the first we’ve seen of a specific date for the LG V20’s launch, and that this date is when the phone is “scheduled” to launch. Actual availability tends to vary somewhat between carriers, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for more information from Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon in the coming weeks.

We’ve reached out to LG for comment, and we’ll let you know if we hear back.
