Google announced today that it will be making some Android announcements a week before I/O 2025.

Samsung’s back-and-forth Galaxy Watch release schedule appears to be ready to bring back a Galaxy Watch 8 Classic later this year, a device that will hopefully include the company’s iconic rotating bezel.

After several teasers have come and gone, Nothing is finally ready to debut the new CMF Phone 2 Pro. This colorful entry marks the company’s second CMF Phone launch, leading to some impressive new improvements.

After being available as part of a Public Preview phase, the quick Home Panel for your connected smart devices is now rolling out for the Chromecast with Google TV and other Google TV sets.

Alongside its new Razr devices this week, Motorola also announced a new smartwatch, and it just serves as a reminder that it’s well past time for a new Moto 360.

Ahead of Mother’s Day, the US Google Store is discounting the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Buds Pro 2, while a $149 Pixel Watch 2 is particularly notable.

After testing, Gboard is now widely rolling out an Emoji Kitchen redesign and Browse feature for Pixel devices. 

Google’s Find My Device network for Android started off slow, to say the least, but has been steadily improving. Now, we’ve finally got some numbers to back up those improvements, as Google has confirmed that the Find My Device network is 4x faster at finding items, and that “more” users have been changing the default privacy settings.

After starting its rollout in Korea last week, Samsung is now bringing One UI 7 to the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Tab S10 series in the US market.

One of the best things about Google Photos has always been its useful ability to search through your library, but the company’s focus on AI introduced an admittedly impressive, but annoying new experience to search. But there’s a little known shortcut in Google Photos that allows users to quickly jump back into classic search.

Odds are, your personal data and footprint are all over the internet, with various malicious actors trying to get at personal information that you really should have access to. There are a couple of ways to cover that footprint that data brokers and other institutions can’t access it, and it’s surprisingly easy.

After testing earlier this year, Google is now widely rolling out a Material 3 redesign of Gmail on iPhone and iPad. 

Following Keep last year, Gmail on Android tablets and foldables now has an adjustable dual-pane layout. This is also available in the Google Chat app.

Later this year, Google will stop supporting the 1st and 2nd generation Nest Learning Thermostat. This will result in a trio of changes, though Google is offering upgrade discounts to existing owners.
