Expand Expanding CloseThe 2019 Android Dev Summit kicks off later this month and Google yesterday posted the full conference schedule. An official Android app for the event interestingly makes the first official reference to “Android 11.”
While the headlining announcement from the 2018 Android Dev Summit was Android Foldables, Google announced a number of other features, including when the first Slices will be available, as well as Android Studio on Chrome OS.
Back in 2015, Google hosted an Android Dev Summit that solely focused on the mobile platform. Compared to the larger scope of I/O, many Android developers enjoyed this smaller format, and Google is now bringing it back for 2018.
The inaugural Android Dev Summit kicked off earlier today, and Google has conveniently provided a livestream for developers that might want to tune in. You can find schedules for day 1 and day 2 below, as well as the YouTube streams embedded for your convenience.
