HTC RE camera will be $100 on Black Friday through Cyber Monday

Site default logo image

The HTC RE is one of the weirdest looking cameras that we’ve seen released this year. At a glance it looks like a tiny periscope or a colorful asthma inhaler. Odd presentation aside, this GoPro alternative has some likable qualities, however its $200 asking price is likely to be a turnoff for frugal photogs. If that last line sounds like you, then you might want to listen up, because HTC is having a sale.

Google bundling 1TB of Drive storage with the purchase of select Chromebooks

Site default logo image

Chromebook’s are becoming a viable option for people with simple computing needs, and while the laptop alternative typically ships with limited local storage, Google often tosses in 100GB of cloud space from Google Drive for two years. But to sweeten the pot this holiday season, the search giant is turning the dial up quite a few notches and tossing in 1TB of Drive storage with the purchase of an eligible Chromebook.

HTC kicks off new holiday promotion by offering Nexus 9 tablet for 50% off (update: sold out)

Update (11/4 12:15pm): The 50% deal is now sold out, but you can still save $50 on a 16GB or 32GB model.

(note: the discounted price will show after you get a Nexus 9 in your online shopping cart)

HTC is getting the holiday deal season underway with a bang. Starting right now, you can get the just-released Nexus 9 Android tablet for $199, which is 50% below the retail price of $399. That is an incredible deal.

Be warned, this deal is only available in limited quantities and we expect it sell out extremely fast. That being said, if you’re interested in this deal then you should absolutely skip the rest of this post and start giving your credit card info to HTC as quickly as possible.

Those who get shut out on the initial 50% offer will still be able to save $50 on the 16GB or 32GB model through midnight ET tonight. Today’s deal is part of a larger holiday promotion by HTC that is set to feature a “hot deal” every Tuesday for the next 9 weeks.

Check out our Nexus 9 review to see how Google’s latest tablet stacks up to the competition.
