Quite possibly the worst kept secret in the world of high-end smartphones, the LG G3 can’t manage to stay out of the spotlight. Today’s big leak: lockscreen widgets. These circular pieces of software are set to jive with the G3’s Quick Window cover that leaves just enough space for each item to be displayed. Revealed by @evleaks, it looks like we can expect to see options for a clock, pedometer, text messages and incoming calls.
While we’ve seen information regarding the hardware of LG’s upcoming G3, the software side has been mostly silent. Today, various leaked screenshots show that the device will feature a vastly improved UI, as well as a new “Concierge” service to help make the device more approachable. The screenshots (via Digital Trends) show off the homescreen, as well as the notification shade.
Compared to previous versions of LG’s skin, those shown off here are much more tame and in-line with Google’s overall design motif. The 3D icons have been polished off to be flatter, and LG has also replaced the menu button with Google’s standard multitasking button.
Google has updated its AdSense app for Android with one of the most requested features: a resizable widget that allows you to quickly view your estimate earnings overview from the home screen of your device.
The updated AdSense app also adds a few other new features including improvements for timezone settings, and translations to 24 languages.

What’s New
SoundCloud announced today on its blog that users can now listen to sounds from SoundCloud directly on Google+ thanks to new integration it’s been working on with Google. The news comes following Google+ sign-in integration that SoundCloud launched back in May.
Starting today, users will be able to “Share any SoundCloud URL to your Google+ circles and the widget will appear, automatically in the post.” In other words, you’ll be able to listen to SoundCloud links directly on Google+ through a familiar player without having to open a new tab.
And it’s effortless — check out how artists like Pearl Jam, Snoop Lion and Armin Van Buuren are already using the integration to share their latest tracks (look out for the hashtags: #soundcloudplus and #summersound).
Google has updated its Google Play Music app today with several new features and some fixes to bugs that many users have experienced. On top of now being able to continue playing instant mixes past 25 songs, Google also added a previous button to the widget that allows users to cycle backward through playlists without opening the app. Other improvements in the update include the “ability to shuffle an album, artist or playlist,” new default artwork for albums, and progress indicators on album and playlist pages for pinned tracks. Google also included a fix for freezing issues on the Galaxy S III.
