Dbrand’s Ghost case is one of the best-looking clear cases to come to market, no matter how briefly it was there. After an initial bout of quality control issues due to visible scratching, Dbrand has decided to delay the replacement cases.
Being such a large and hefty phone, the Pixel Fold needs a good case that protects it and offers a bit of functionality. The Dbrand Grip case for the Pixel Fold is exactly that, with a little bit of a bonus in personalization with the new X-Ray skin.
Yesterday Dbrand and YouTuber JerryRigEverything announced a lawsuit against competitor Casetify for the theft of Dbrand’s “Teardown” skin designs on the case-maker’s cases. Responding to the controversy, Casetify says it is “investigating” the “matter “allegation.”
Dbrand has been running its “Teardown” line of cases and skins for a few years now in collaboration with YouTuber JerryRigEverything, but one of the company’s competitors, Casetify, has been caught red-handed blatantly stealing those designs for its own cases.
Dbrand has made the Grip lineup available for the Pixel series several years in a row, and it’s often stood at the top in terms of quality and protection. This year, with the Dbrand Grip case for Pixel 8, MagSafe comes into the fray. And with Made for Google certification, it’s hard to deny it a spot at the head of the table once more.
Clear cases are pretty much everywhere, but they all share one unfortunate aspect in common – yellowing. With its new “Ghost” case, Dbrand says that it’s developed a clear case that won’t yellow in your lifetime and that also brings MagSafe to Pixel 7 Pro and other Android devices.
Last year, dbrand released their Something skins, which took the Nothing Phone (1) design language, and customized it to devices like the Pixel 6 Pro, Galaxy S22 Ultra, and iPhone 13 Pro to mimic the design language on those devices. To celebrate the launch of the Nothing Phone (2), dbrand is at it again with Something(dark), a black colorway of their Something skins.
After launching the “Palettes” skin series for Apple products only last year, dbrand has just announced that its popular series will be coming to Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, and virtually every other device in the company’s portfolio.
dbrand has historically been known for fun and joke products at the expense of popular devices, creators, and characters. From the Something skins that take inspiration from the Nothing Phone (1), to the Linus Face Tips skins making fun of Linus Sebastian, to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Pixel skins, which make your Pixel 6a, 6, or 6 Pro look like one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Nothing Phone (1) has a really unique design – there is no denying that. The LED glyphs along with the white internals looks fantastic. dbrand must have thought so as well because they released Something skins, a Nothing style version of the company’s Teardown skins.
The Pixel lineup has long been full of inconsistent designs and, to a similar extent, inconsistent success with each model. As a result, one big problem that buyers of Google’s phones face is a lack of good accessories. But one case that steps in to fill the gap that many others leave behind is the dbrand Grip, which can outfit the Pixel 6 with the colors of your choice or a genuinely gorgeous leather finish.
Samsung’s smartphone designs over the past several years have been just getting better and better, with the new S20 series being no exception. However, the S20 Ultra especially suffers from bland color options. If you want to add some life to your Galaxy S20 or, frankly, protect your very expensive smartphone, dbrand’s Grip case has been a favorite of mine, especially with the “Teardown” skin.
Ever wanted to see inside of your phone? Teardown videosand wallpapers are one way to do that, but now dbrand has another idea. With a new set of skins for select devices including Pixel 4, dbrand’s “Teardown” series offers a look inside of your device for a limited time only.

Want just a little style and protection, but prefer to skip the bulk? Tend to keep your Pixel in the same pocket as your keys? Do you make razors, knives, swords, or other sharp objects for a living? Of course you do, and that means you’ll be needing dbrand skins for Pixel 3a and 3a XL. They’re available now, and simply put, they’re the phone skins that will save your new Pixel phone’s skin.
Late last year, dbrand introduced the Grip, a bumper case that promised to make your phone ultra-grippy. With the Grip now shipping to customers who backed the product on Indiegogo, let’s see how it stands up against one of the most popular bumper cases on the market: the RhinoShield CrashGuard.
