Google announced in a post on its G Suite Updates blog today that users of legacy Android devices will be able to view the new Work Apps section in the Play Store. This means that employees with devices running older versions of Android can easily see apps aggregated by their employers.

New survey shows Samsung’s reputation continues to suffer following Note 7
While Apple still holds a commanding lead, a new survey from research firm Reputation Institute claims that both Apple and Samsung have suffered significant drops in their reputations over the last year. The data, which was collected from over 170,000 consumers, shows that Apple has slipped to the 20th spot on the list, while Samsung dropped to number 70.
Android 7.0 Nougat now rolling out to T-Mobile’s Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge
According to various reports on Twitter and elsewhere, T-Mobile this evening has stared rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge models. The update comes complete with the February 1st security patches in place. It appears that T-Mobile and Samsung are starting the rollout with users who had been beta testing the software and will expand it from there.

Google announces plans to open-source Google Earth Enterprise in March

Google says it will block .js file attachments in Gmail starting Feb. 13
Google announced on its G Suite Updates blog today that Gmail will soon be adding another file type to its restriction list. Currently, Gmail restricts file types such as .exe, .msc, and .bat. Starting February 13th, however, another file type will be joining that group: .js.
