Google today announced some notable keynote speakers that will appear at its upcoming Google Cloud Next ’17 Conference scheduled for March 8-10. Among the execs set to make an appearance at the event, Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Executive Chairman of Alphabet Eric Schmidt will be delivering keynotes during the conference that will focus on the latest for the company’s Cloud offerings.
CES 2017 has officially kicked into full gear ahead of the show opening to the public this weekend, and today we get a look at the latest aftermarket in-dash entertainment systems that support the Android Auto platform. Following a report in October claiming Samsung and LG were both attempting to win orders for OLED displays to be used in future smartphones, a new report today says LG Display has partnered with Google and others for a foldable OLED panel of sorts.
According to the report from etnews, LG Display is partnering with Apple, Google, and Microsoft on what it describes as ‘out-foldable’ OLED displays.

Instagram today announced a new milestone for its user base with the service now over 600 million monthly active users, up 100 million users in just six months.
Android Pay is today arriving in Japan with Google confirming the launch in an announcement on its website this evening. The payment service will initially launch in the country with support for Rakuten Edy, which means that users will be able to use Android Pay at over 470,000 locations that currently accept the Rakuten Edy eMoney platform.
