Google signs lease on forthcoming 35-story building in downtown Austin, Texas
According to Austin American Statesman sources this evening, Google has signed to lease all 35 floors of a forthcoming tower that’s already broken ground in downtown Austin, Texas. It will be located, unsurprisingly, right next door to Google’s existing Austin offices.

Google plans to launch web client for its Duo video calling service soon
Google will launch a web client for its Duo video calling app in the coming weeks, according to a source familiar with the plans. This development ultimately means a much wider reach of devices that can access the growing service. Google Duo has, up to now, only been available in the form of an app from the Google Play Store or the iOS App Store, and on its Smart Display platform.
Google I/O 2019 will be held May 7-9 at its usual Shoreline venue in Mountain View
For the fourth time since 2016, Google I/O will be held at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California this year. Google I/O 2019 will take place May 7-9, if strings of code part of the Google I/O 2019 puzzle are to be believed (they are).
