With Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 just a few weeks away we’re continuing to see a number of leaks showing off more details about Samsung’s next phablet. In the latest images (via TechTastic) we get our first look at what the always-on display will look like on the Note 7…
The Galaxy Note 7 could easily be the most leaked device of all time; in the past weeks and months, we’ve come to know seemingly everything that Samsung managed to pack in this beast of a device, and yet more leaks keep coming.
The much rumored iris scanner has been “confirmed” a number of times already, but this could be our best look at it yet…
Samsung today has announced a new Unpacked event for August 2nd, like had previously been leaked. The company is expected to take the wraps off of its latest Galaxy Note 7 device during the event, which will take place in New York City at 11AM. The Galaxy Note 7 has been rumored for a while now, so not much is unknown about it at this point.
From renders to software, we already know a lot about Samsung’s next major release, the Galaxy Note 7. Now just a few weeks out from the expected announcement we’ve got our first look at a purported Note 7 prototype shown off on camera.
We’ve been hearing a lot about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7 over the past several weeks and today we’ve got yet another big leak. Famous leakster Evan Blass, more commonly known as @evleaks, has today released a new set of images giving us what appears to be our first official look at the Note 7…
Update 2: It looks like Evan is on a roll right now — a second follow-up message is here to seemingly confirm a slew of additional, previously rumored specs: as per him, the Note 7 will sport a 5.7″ QHD AMOLED display, 64GB of expandable memory (via microSD; it’s unclear whether other storage options will see the light of day), a 12MP/5MP combo of cameras (back and front respectively, shutting down reports that wanted the Note 7 to have a dual camera setup, which we won’t likely see until the Galaxy S8 lands), IP68 certification, and three colorations: blue, black and white.
Update: A follow-up tweet by @evleaks also seems to confirm that the much rumored iris scanner will indeed make it to the Note 7. It is not sure what it will be used for, but we assume it will likely be related to biometric identification, much like fingerprint readers.
There has been much speculation regarding the sequel to America’s most loved phone. Most of it regarded its shape, but a series of leaked memos suggested that Samsung was looking forward to changing the name, too.
And now it seems like those leaks were all but true…

The rumor mill for Samsung‘s next flagship seems to be unstoppable. Be it for its size, specs or configurations, it is undoubted that the Galaxy Note 6 — or Note 7, as we have now come to expect it — is polarizing a lot of interest.
Today, thanks to two of the most famous leakers in the tech space, we may have new information regarding its launch date as well as a detailed look at the device itself…
Among the common trends that seem to be picking up in mobile photography, we can certainly include the adoption of dual cameras: brands like LG and Huawei — with the G5 and P9 respectively — have in fact already brought dual-camera equipped, high-end terminals to the mainstream market.
Now, following numerous reports of Apple allegedly looking forward to entering the game, Samsung seems willing to join the part as well (via Pocket-Lint)…
Samsung is hosting an event later this week on June 2nd at 5PM in New York City. The invite does not provide a hint as to what will be announced, but the Gear Fit 2 and IconX wireless earbuds are more likely than the Galaxy Note 7.
In addition to reportedly having the Galaxy Note jump to 7 in numbering, Samsung might also be adding an “Edge” variant to the line up. A listing on a customs import site lists a “metal mask” attached to a model number that hints at more than one variant of Samsung’s phablet.
As far as Samsung goes, this week certainly is getting pretty crazy. The Galaxy S7 edge is almost at the center of it all: an eighty meter-tall, LED powered screen is turning an entire building’s facade into a billboard ad, and rumor has it that the phone may soon land in a special Batman-themed edition.

Nvidia announced today that it will be releasing a new version of its Tegra Note 7 tablet that will include its i500 LTE model for 4G LTE cellular connectivity.
