Google Pixel Verizon Leak

We’re less than a day away from Google’s October 4th event, and it has been Pixel leaks galore. Over the weekend we saw Canadian carrier Bell leak renders of the Pixel and Pixel XL in black and white followed by Carphone Warehouse leaking promotional material. Now, a little over 12 hours away from the start of the event, Verizon has the Pixel and Pixel XL listed on its website. The best part? Verizon has also unofficially confirmed the highly-anticipated blue model.

Update: a follow-up reveal, again by Evan Blass, is making us take a quick look at the larger Pixel XL’s front too. As expected, the device looks absolutely identical, and the only change here comes in the form of a different — but still subdued — wallpaper.

We’ve reported about the colorations allegedly making their debut on Google‘s upcoming pair of in-house made flagship devices, and mentioned how, albeit being just a little over a week away from the official announcement, the faucet’s been opened and leaks just keep pouring. Perhaps this won’t come as a surprise considering some of the other disappointing tidbits we’ve heard lately about Google’s forthcoming Pixel flagship. Not only will the phone come at a premium, it appears more with every new leak that it won’t be much of a premium phone no matter the cost.  The latest is word (via Android Police) that the phone won’t be waterproof — it’ll only be rated at IP53…
