In a somewhat unexpected move, Google has stopped selling a lot of color options for the Active Band that’s available for the Pixel Watch series.

With this year’s hardware devices, Google has an entirely new uniform packaging. In detailing the design, Google gives us a Pixel Watch 3 unboxing today. 

Google’s Pixel Watch series has pretty good hardware, but one issue that’s plagued the series is repairability. That won’t be changing with Pixel Watch 3, unfortunately, as repairs continue to not be an option.

Yesterday, Google just showed new band colors and 45 mm sizes. However, a new Pixel Watch 3 Performance Loop Band is coming and we now know what it looks like.

As someone with smaller wrists, I’m glad that the Pixel Watch started out at 41 mm. Going into the Pixel Watch 3, I fully expected to be happy with the smaller model’s tiny screen increase due to shrunken bezels, but the 45 mm version is giving me the best kind of doubts.

Besides being offered in a bigger size, the Google Pixel Watch 3 looks exactly like last year’s wearable, with software and under-the-hood changes being the name of the game in 2024.

The last remaining Pixel Watch 3 specs that have not yet leaked are now out with confirmation about the processor and RAM.
