Last week OnePlus made it’s latest smartphone, the OnePlus 3T, official. As an upgrade to the OnePlus 3, the OnePlus 3T brings along some minor spec upgrades and a slightly higher price tag. Starting today, it’s available for purchase for the first time.

Just yesterday OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 3T, an updated version of the already-pretty-impressive OnePlus 3. It brings an updated processor, extra storage, a new color variant, and a handful of other improvements. One of those was a larger battery. The larger 3,400 mAh battery adds a little extra stamina to the phone, but also extends the charging time ─ or at least, that’s how it’s supposed to work.

Ever since the OnePlus 3‘s production started to encounter problems — which have led the Chinese OEM to ultimately stop sales for a period of time — rumors began to float around the internet circa a slightly refined, more powerful version of the phone to debut before the end of the year.
And, it seems, those rumors were correct…

Just yesterday a report came out to say that due to a lack of stock, OnePlus would be halting production of the OnePlus 3 to make room for a new “OnePlus 3S.” In that refreshed model, the company would swap the existing Snapdragon 820 chip for an 821 and also trade the AMOLED display for an LCD, to the uproar of some fans.
OnePlus may have finally ditched its infamous invite system for its latest — and, hopefully, future — devices, but that does not mean that the company isn’t having troubles meeting demands. After weeks of discontinued sales caused by unforeseen request, the fate of its “3” flagship may see it coming to a permanent halt. But there’s more…

Starting today, the OnePlus X will begin to receive an over the air update to OxygenOS 3.1.3 which brings with it Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Although the company released a community build that brought the updated firmware to the OnePlus X about a month ago, this is this first stable build to roll-out to customers…
OnePlus has announced today (via a blog post) that VoLTE (voice over LTE) support — which launched out of the box on the company’s most recent flagship, OnePlus 3 — is coming to the OnePlus 2:
In line with rolling out new products, services and features for the holiday season, we have one more good news to share with our fans, and that is about VoLTE support on our flagship devices. We’ve been keeping a close eye on forum discussions and noted the requests to enable VoLTE (Voice over LTE) or HD calling support on OnePlus smartphones.

Following a teaser a couple of days ago which showed what clearly resembled the exterior of a set of earphones, OnePlus has taken the wraps off its latest product, and officially introduced v2 of its “Bullets” earphones.
While potentially being easily dismissible as a fairly simple and straightforward set of earbuds, the company has nonetheless packed some interesting tech in it…

Through a new teaser video on its YouTube channel, OnePlus has just revealed that it will be announcing a new product later this week on August 25th. The 30-second teaser features an acoustic soundtrack and shows a spinning “V2” logo on vinyl…
OnePlus’ lower-end and budget-er OnePlus X has drawn the short stick when it comes to software updates, but now the company has finally released — after almost a year being stuck on Lollipop — the phone’s first build of OxygenOS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow…

Despite being a relatively new company whose products often tend to lighten your wallets less than the likes of, say, Samsung or Apple, OnePlus is a company that always makes sure its voice is heard loud and clear. This is especially true when it comes down to reaffirming its position in the tech realm; and that, often, leads to direct comparisons like the one posted today…

There has to be some sort of curse in the tech world for OnePlus, from which consumers are the primary victims. However, the Chinese OEM fares no better, and amid post-Brexit price surges, it looks like other European customers too will be affected by another form of disservice, whose fault may or may not be on the firm’s shoulders…

OnePlus has today announced the latest update for Oxygen OS, version 3.2.2. This latest update is still based on Android 6.0.1 but brings along several usability improvements to provide an overall better experience for OnePlus 3 users.

With major updates for the OnePlus 3 on the horizon there’s no doubt many users are constantly checking for that update to hit their devices. While that’s usually completely fine, a flaw in OnePlus’ system could turn this average task into something a bit more dangerous.

Update 2: OnePlus now resuming rollout, but this time pushing 3.2.1 instead of 3.2.0.
Update: OnePlus says it is halting the OTA update to investigate issues some are having while upgrading.
OnePlus is currently rolling out OxygenOS 3.2.0 to the OnePlus 3. This new update has been promised by the company for quite some time and within it brings improvements to RAM management, the addition of an sRGB mode to the developer settings, as well as a handful of bug fixes.

That the UK-EU referendum’s result has come as a shocker is not news anymore, but while the how and when of Britain leaving the EU may be an unknown, the fall in the value of the pound is a reality today, and it may well fall further as things progress. That’s a possibility that OnePlus is starting to address …

Earlier this month OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that OnePlus had been working on their own smartwatch back in 2015, but the company never decided to bring it to market. Now, we know the watch would have featured a circular display, as seen in design sketches from 2015. The image tweeted by co-founder Carl Pei shows roughly what the watch would have looked like as well as describes some of its functionality.

We’ve heard a lot surrounding the OnePlus 3 in the past week and while most of it is good, there are some negative points. This of course is the case with any smartphone, but with the OnePlus 3 and the company’s previous efforts, these downsides — compromises, if you will — are seen by many as less like flaws and more just ways for OnePlus to cut corners and achieve its super affordable price points.
Now, it looks like OnePlus’ CEO Carl Pei is tired of hearing about it and has taken to Reddit to express his feelings on the matter…

Even with its 6GB of RAM, a YouTube comparison revealed last week that the OnePlus 3 still had a bit of trouble with multitasking. When compared with the Galaxy S7 Edge, the OnePlus 3 took marginally longer to store and reload apps from memory despite its supposed advantage on paper. Later the same week, the talents over at XDA developed a potential fix for this issue and now the same YouTuber who started this is back with the fix applied to show us how it improves things.

After a comparison video earlier this week showed us that the OnePlus 3’s 6GB of RAM might not give it the insane multitasking capabilities we all hoped, OnePlus CEO Carl Pei has responded with a few clarifications surrounding RAM management on the OnePlus 3.

Over the past couple years our smartphones have turned into powerhouses we never would have imagined even a few years ago, but things took a step even further earlier this week with the announcement of the OnePlus 3. With 6GB of RAM under the hood you’d expect this phone to be an exception in a world of laggy Android phones with subpar performance, but that doesn’t seem to be the case just yet…
Our own Edoardo Maggio is in London today, attempting to get his hands on the newly-announced OnePlus 3. But surprisingly for him, and us aswell, the line to get a chance to touch the phone — and a limited number of people, buy it — is just ridiculously long. iPhone long…

OnePlus has had an interesting history to say the least. Yesterday the company launched its fourth smartphone, the OnePlus 3, and it’s actually really impressive. It packs powerful specs, great hardware, and an incredibly low price tag. The company still has some serious work to do, however.

One of the benefits of expanded usage of social networks is the ease through which customers and companies interact with one another. Relatively new ones — like OnePlus, for instance — owe much to their communities, and often offer them ways to be more involved with the company’s decisions.
In fact, another newcomer in the smartphone game — Nextbit — is announcing that it’s taking a similar approach…
