The Trans-Pacific Partnership (also known as the TPP) is a very controversial trade agreement among twelve countries around the world, and now it has a new ally in the form of one of the world’s largest companies: Google. “We hope that the TPP can be a positive force and an important counterweight to restrictive Internet policies around the world,” Kent Walker, SVP and General Counsel at Google said in a blog post. “Like many other tech companies, we look forward to seeing the agreement approved and implemented in a way that promotes a free and open Internet across the Pacific region.”

Deal: You can get a Moto 360 Sport for just $161.32 on Amazon right now

The Moto 360 Sport, which we said earlier this year is the best Android Wear fitness solution so far, has today popped up on Amazon for a new low price of $161.32 shipped. That may not be as great of a deal as the crazy bundle that Motorola offered last week (which combined the Moto X Pure and the 360 Sport for just $400), but it’s the best deal we’ve seen yet for the watch by itself. $161.32 is about $40 less than the current going price of $200 and $140 less than its original retail price of $300…

Deal: Get a fully-capable Galaxy Gear Live Android Wear smartwatch for just $80

If you’re looking to grab a smartwatch for an Android lover this holiday season, but would prefer something closer to a stocking stuffer than jewelry, this is your chance. DailySteals is offering the Samsung Galaxy Gear Live Android Wear smartwatch for just $79.99, and shipping to get it to your doorstep before Christmas should only be a couple bucks more.

While some of the latest Android Wear hardware does add a speaker (which has yet to be actually enabled by the software), the experience on the latest devices isn’t much different than when the platform first launched. The Galaxy Gear Live debuted Android Wear alongside the LG G Watch R, and it’s still a fully-capable smartwatch for someone looking to dip their toes.

You can now get last year’s Nexus Player for just $38 shipped (Reg. $100)

The Nexus Player is perhaps a great Chromecast alternative if nothing else, and now it looks like you can grab one for about the same price as the recently-announced 2nd generation Chromecast. Groupon is currently offering the device for just $39.99 — down to $37.99 with coupon code VISA5 —  which is a steal for the set top box and the lowest price we’ve seen for a new unit.

We reviewed the Nexus Player last year, and had mostly positive things to say. That said, it’s clear that the Android TV platform is losing out to the Chromecast, which is less capable in terms of features but available for just $35 outright and has been much better advertised by Google. It doesn’t help that the Nvidia Shield is leaps and bounds better than Google’s offering.

You might want to act quick, because these Groupon deals tend to go fast.

You can now buy the waterproof HTC RE camera for just $50 shipped (Reg. $200)

HTC’s RE camera hasn’t exactly been the blowout hit, and at least a few times over the last several months we’ve seen it as low as $100 brand-new. Now, you can buy the HTC RE from the company’s website for just $50 shipped, which is $150 less than its regular $200 retail price and the lowest price we’ve seen.

The HTC RE, importantly, has a waterproof build — which makes it the obvious choice for water sports and outdoors filming. The camera also sports a 146° wide angle lens, and a 16-megapixel, 1/2.3″ Sony CMOS sensor. It has just one button, made for when you’re out with friends and just want to quickly capture a moment.

HTC’s website is currently offering the device in four colors: silver, orange, blue, and green. The device is compatible with both iPhone and Android platforms, and also brings the RE Live Stream feature, which lets you stream up to 30-minutes of footage directly from the device to YouTube. It’s nearing impulse buy at this price.

Best Buy offering another $100 off when you buy an already-discounted Moto 360 and an Android phone

If you’re in the market for a new smartwatch, now might be a pretty good time to get the Moto 360. In a new deal today from Best Buy, the retailer is offering $100 savings when you purchase both Motorola’s Android Wear smartwatch and a new Android phone. Considering that the Moto 360 is already on sale at Best Buy—and nothing in the small print says the two offers are incompatible—this probably means you can effectively get a Moto 360 for $79.99 (and it looks like you can get another $25 off if you can use the current .edu promotion).

Motorola is giving away a free Moto Hint ($150 value) w/ purchase of unlocked Moto X

Motorola has been running a lot of Moto X promotions lately, and today the company has launched yet another sweet deal: If you head over to the Motorola online store and buy an unlocked Moto X, the company will send you a Moto Hint (worth $149.99) with your order completely free.

Moto Hint lets you ask your Moto X questions, make calls, and send messages — all hands-free. Now through 4/14, when you customize your off-contract Moto X (starting at $499.99), add a Moto Hint wireless earbud to your cart for free, a $149.99 value.*

You can purchase your unlocked Moto X in one of three flavors: “Pure Edition” with a T-Mobile SIM, or as an AT&T or Verizon variant. To take advantage of the deal, add both a Moto X and an Moto Hint to your cart. You should be able to take advantage of this offer through April 14th.
