Sony is one of the biggest names in Android TV, and now they’re making the biggest option for the platform. As part of the company’s latest collection of high-end televisions, there’s a 98-inch 8K TV running on top of Android TV, and it costs nearly $70,000.
While we don’t necessarily see too many Sony smartphones hitting the market as of late, it’s still worrying for the industry to see the brand closing a smartphone factory in China.

The Sony Xperia 1 is a bit of a mystery, we were unable to get to grips with it after it was officially unveiled at MWC 2019. Now thanks to an Amazon US listing, we’ve got an indication of the pricing at least — which is pegged at $999 (via XperiaBlog).

The Sony Xperia 1, Sony Xperia 10 and Sony Xperia 10 Plus have to be considered odd devices in many regards. For starters, we weren’t really able to actually use the Xperia 1 during the official MWC 2019 launch as the software is still very much in an unfinished state, but we did get to see what the device can offer up close and in person.
