Source: Fortnite for Android will be exclusive to Galaxy Note 9 for 30 days, V-Bucks credits w/ pre-orders

Fortnite players everywhere are well aware that the popular game — which has been available on the App Store for quite a while now — has yet to hit Android. Now, we’ve learned a few tidbits about its imminent launch from a source familiar with the plan. The game will be available exclusively on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for 30 days and then arrive on other Android handsets shortly thereafter.

No, Google AdWords hasn’t backtracked its policy on cryptocurrency ads

Despite the company itself looking into developing its blockchain, Google’s ads department announced earlier this year that it would be banning all cryptocurrency-related ads in an effort to combat malicious actors in the space.

Now, many reports are surfacing suggesting Google has backtracked on this policy. Unfortunately for companies in the crypto space, however, they aren’t true.

‘Google Sans’ font is coming to Chrome OS

Google has slowly been overhauling its countless products with a fresh new look called the Google Material Theme. One piece of that design language is its font, namely Google Sans, which the company told us at I/O is a size-optimized version of Product Sans, the font it uses for its logo.

Now, it seems Google Sans is — unsurprisingly — coming to Chrome OS.

Report: YouTube TV needs a big ad revenue boost to become profitable

They’re still a drop in the bucket compared to the still-dominating traditional satellite and cable TV players, but so-called “skinny bundle” TV services like YouTube TV are gaining in popularity. Despite its growth in terms of sheer subscriber numbers, however, The Information reports today that Google is still trying to figure out how to make money on the service.

Review: Acer’s Chromebook Tab 10 is great for school, not as much for you

The journey to the launch of the first Chrome OS tablet has been long, emerging out the Android-powered tablet’s ashes and amidst Chrome OS becoming an ever-stronger contender to the big OS behemoths — Windows and macOS.
