ASUS confirms July 11th rollout for Android Wear 2.0 on ZenWatch 3, ZenWatch 2 next month

Android Wear 2.0’s rollout to the wide variety of wearables set to receive it has been slow, to say the least. Many watches still lack the update, but one of the biggest releases yet to pick it up has been ASUS’ ZenWatch line. Recently, ASUS finally gave us some concrete information on when its Wear 2.0 rollout will begin.

Opinion: Some Android Wear watches still haven’t received 2.0, and that’s embarrassing

When Google announced the rollout of Android Wear 2.0, it said that a plethora of smartwatches would be getting the update “in the coming weeks.” I guess that’s always going to be technically true no matter how many weeks have passed, but it’s pretty embarrassing that now, almost 6 months since that announcement, there are still watches that haven’t received the update…

ASUS Chromebook Flip 2 briefly pops up at Best Buy ahead of announcement, available January 5th

Just the other day a new ASUS Chromebook popped up over on Newegg, carrying the C302CA model number. Now, the same model has popped up on Best Buy, this time confirming a few more details and offering up a possible release date.

ASUS submits minor FCC modifications to the recently-discontinued Nexus Player

It was just a few days ago that it seemed the Nexus Player had been discontinued, but now it looks like a slightly modified version of the device could be on its way. It doesn’t seem likely to be a “second generation” Nexus Player, but the device’s FCC listing has just received some minor updates — almost two years after it first launched…

Asus announces its new Zenfone 3, alongside premium “Deluxe” and massive “Ultra”

Over the past few years, a common trend in the smartphone world saw a myriad of OEMs pushing out a multitude of flagships. As demand for bigger-screened devices arose, so did the request for smaller handsets, often leading to at least two versions of the same device.

Asus is today pushing those boundaries even further, presenting us with not two but three flagship devices, part of the new Zenfone 3 family…
