Update: The image has been removed and replaced with the below image of an actual pebble… Oops?

We told you last week that Pebble is likely about to announce the next-generation of its smartwatch, featuring a thinner design, a color e-paper-like display, and a revamped OS. Now, thanks to an image hosted on Pebble’s own servers, we have a look at a device with a physical appearance matching the device we described. The device looks to have a larger bezel, as well as buttons that are smaller compared to its predecessor.

Google defends itself, says it fought WikiLeaks gag orders

Site default logo image

We told you earlier this week about a letter sent from WikiLeaks to Google, asking why it took so long for the Mountain View company to notify them of federal warrants for their personal data. Google apparently stood up against the gag orders preventing them from doing so (via The Washington Post), saying it “challenged the secrecy from the beginning.”

New render leak via evleaks shows upcoming ‘Hima’ HTC One (M9) flagship in two variants

A new image, courtesy of none other than Evan Blass (@evleaks) himself, has leaked this morning showing what looks to be two variants of the upcoming “Hima” HTC One (M9) flagship. While they sport a similar physical build, the larger one includes a hardware home button while the smaller of the two does not. Interestingly, this render is a bit different than anything we’ve seen leaked thus far, straying just a bit in design from the current generation hardware…

Samsung Galaxy S6 unveiling expected at MWC sans Snapgdragon 810, ‘Active’ variant returning

Purported photos of upcoming ‘Hima’ HTC One ‘M9’ handset leak out

Following yesterday’s report from Bloomberg that HTC is indeed launching its next flagship smartphone in March, new photos have leaked today showing a handset that doesn’t look all too different from what the Taiwanese company currently offers. There’s not too much new information to be learned from these photos (via Nowhereelse.fr), and you should probably take them with a heaping pile of salt, but there’s always a chance that this could be a quick peek the next HTC flagship in the flesh.

One of the devices that will be heading the charge is the Acer C740, which got leaked last week (via OMGChrome), and it’s said that at least one variation of it will be sporting one of Intel’s fifth-generation codename Broadwell chips—expected to be launched at CES in January.

Today’s sketchy Samsung Galaxy S6 leak is almost surely bogus

We saw the supposed Samsung Galaxy S6 leak this morning, but we just weren’t convinced of its legitimacy enough to even show it to you as a sketchy rumor. It’s a good thing we didn’t, because a new report from Faryaab Sheikh–a very reliable source in the world of Samsung rumors–says this morning that he has received separate confirmation from many sources saying that the picture is definitely not a Galaxy S6 prototype.

Purported Samsung Galaxy S6 “Project Zero” specs leak in AnTuTu benchmark

Every year when any company’s new flagship is around the corner, benchmarks for what are assumably prototypes of those devices tend to pop up on phone benchmark websites months before they see any kind of official announcement. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S6 smartphone isn’t any exception, and today we have evidence (via CNMO) that the phone has already shown up on AnTuTu, possibly corroborating previously leaked details about the upcoming handset’s specs.

Leaked photo confirms our Motorola Nexus ‘Shamu’ mock ups from yesterday

Site default logo image

Following our report from yesterday, the first real photo of the purported Nexus 6/X Motorola “Shamu” has surfaced on the internet. The photo appeared in a thread on the XDA-Developers community and was apparently posted by one named “Michael Sudol.” Notably, the photo is almost perfectly in line with the mock up we shared less than 24 hours ago, noting the device’s aluminum edges and build almost identical to that of the second generation Moto X.

What exactly this device will turn out to be is still unknown, but all rumors have pointed toward it being part of Google’s upcoming lineup of Nexus devices (one piece of evidence is that all Nexus devices have had ocean-themed names). While a 5.2-inch variation of this device is seemingly floating around, the device we’re familiar with has a 5.92-inch screen, QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 of 498 PPI, a 3,200 mAh battery, a 13 MP camera on the back, and a 2 MP front camera.

Huge leak shows off Sony Xperia Z3 specs and high-res press shots

Site default logo image

The Sony Xperia Z3 passed through TENAA today, and as a result, we’ve finally got our hands on some high-resolution press photos and specs that can tell us more about the device. This isn’t the devices first leak, but with its expected reveal next month, it seems like it’s getting more difficult for Sony to keep the device under wraps.

According to the report, the device is expected to feature a 5.3″ display at full 1080P resolution, a 20.7MP rear shooter, a Snapdragon 801, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. While the press photos of the device look awfully similar to the Z2, previous reports point to the phone being thiner and lighter than its predecessor.

Sony is expected to reveal the Z3 at IFA in Berlin during their scheduled press event.

You can view the full gallery of the device in both black and white below.
