As we’ve been tracking since last month, Google now offers an At a Glance complication on the Pixel Watch.

Because the Pixel Watch was launched with proprietary band connectors, finding premium watchbands has been somewhat of a challenge. Of course, options from the manufacturer itself are going to yield the best results, but is Google’s new Metal Links Band for the Pixel Watch worth the $200 tag?

Before today, the deepest Google Store discount brought the cellular Pixel Watch to $349. The Pixel Watch LTE is now $329.99 for the next week, while the Active Band sees its first official deal.

The Pixel Watch’s May 2023 update is rolling out starting today as a quiet patch, just like last month. A bigger release should be coming next month.

Compared to Apple and Samsung, the Pixel Watch lacks power options beyond the singular Magnetic Charging Cable. That’s now changing, sort of, with Google Store Japan including a semi-official stand accessory with purchases of the Pixel Watch for a limited time.

At the Pixel Watch launch, Google previewed the Metal Links Band and a Metal Mesh Band. The listing for the latter accessory was removed from the Google Store on Monday.
