As part of MWC, Lenovo is announcing a few new Chrome OS devices, including the well-rounded IdeaPad Flex 5i and more affordable Flex 3i Chromebooks.

Chromebook tablets have been growing in popularity over the past couple of years, and Lenovo especially has been doubling down on the form factor. After launching the Chromebook Duet 5 last year, Lenovo is today announcing the smaller, but equally specced, IdeaPad Duet 3.

In the past few years, good wireless earbud choices have become even harder to find due, in part, to market saturation. Lenovo has thrown its hat into the ring with the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds with Google Assistant and multipoint pairing. While the name isn’t very catchy, the clean, detailed sound and convenience might get you.

Google’s Chrome OS made a huge impact early on in the COVID-19 pandemic, with the quick shift to working and educating at home necessitating more machines, and often super affordable ones. However, the following year has seen those numbers drop quickly. In Q4 2021, Chromebook shipments dropped even further, down over 60% compared to the same period in 2020.

The next class of Chrome OS devices may be targeted at the gaming market – more than one Chromebook is set to release with a full RGB keyboard.

Earlier this year, Google announced a new feature called “Entertainment Space,” a way to offer Android tablets a specialized media experience that organizes content in one place. For the past few weeks, we’ve had a chance to try out the feature, and it has some clear potential, at least when paired with the right hardware.

After launching one of the first mainstream Chrome OS tablets in 2020, Lenovo is building on that success with its new Lenovo Chromebook Duet 5, a premium tablet with a bigger OLED display and other upgrades.

At MWC 2021, Lenovo has unveiled a new series of Android tablets including the Yoga Tab 11 and Tab 13 that come pre-installed with Google’s new Entertainment Space.

The smallest-ever Assistant Smart Display was announced by Lenovo in 2019, and it’s now getting a successor with the Smart Clock 2 that adds an optional wireless charging dock.
