A month and a half after Android 8.0 first rolled out, Oreo is now running on .2% of devices according to the October distribution numbers. Meanwhile, Nougat continues to rise while other version either fell or remained static.
Just over three weeks after 8.0 Oreo began rolling out to the latest Pixel and Nexus devices, the latest version of Android is absent from Google’s distribution numbers for September. Meanwhile, Nougat rose in usage while every other version of Android fell.
With O’s official summer release imminent, Nougat is about to lose its title as the latest version of Android. Till then, Nougat and Marshmallow continue to rise in the latest August distribution numbers.
