The big limitation of At a Glance when it quietly launched in June was how it only supported a single watch face, but Google has now updated it with two more complication styles. 

Due to a “firmware update,” Google has had to change and increase the quoted charging speeds for the first-generation Pixel Watch.

With the launch of Pixel Watch 2, Google has shuffled up its watch band offerings, but that has resulted in the removal of a few options including the only first-party brown leather band in the company’s collection.

It’s another round of deal days this week, and as a part of that, we’re seeing the first-generation Google Pixel Watch drop down to $209 right as the sequel is about to hit the market. Is that actually still a good deal? In short – yes.

Wear OS 4 is coming to the original Pixel Watch later this year and will bring some of the new safety features debuting on the Pixel Watch 2.

Google is rolling out version 2.0 of the Pixel Watch companion app ahead of next week’s launch and confirming several new features, like DND sync, in the process.

Wear OS 4 is seeing its formal launch with the Pixel Watch 2, but Google has confirmed that the original Pixel Watch will also see the update in the very near future.

Call Screening is a Pixel-exclusive that mitigates the difference between unwanted spam calls and important calls you just can’t take. With a quality overhaul, Call Screening is coming to the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2.

Google’s first entry into the smartwatch game, the Pixel Watch, is perhaps the one I’ve loved more than any other smartwatch. A year later, I still love it, but I also have a few things I’d like to see the Pixel Watch 2 improve on.

In addition to the Android and iOS redesign this week, Fitbit is rolling out some visual tweaks to its Wear OS app, including Tiles, on the Pixel Watch.

With the Pixel Watch 2, Google is updating and releasing new first-party bands, including metal slim and the metal mesh (again).

In a confirmation of what’s been reasonably obvious for the past year, Google has now directly confirmed that, currently, there is no way to repair a Pixel Watch screen that breaks.

At the start of 2022, Google announced that Wear OS would be able to unlock your Android phone. It seems Watch Unlock is very nearly ready to launch, as our APK Insight team managed to fully enable the feature for an early hands-on.

As part of the Google Store 25th birthday sale in the US, the LTE Pixel Watch is discounted and comes with “2 years of free data for your device.”

To date, Spigen has just made cases for the Pixel Watch, including one that looks like a G-Shock with an integrated strap. Spigen’s latest Pixel Watch accessory is a Lite Fit band that’s made of nylon.

The Pixel Watch’s September 2023 update is once again on the minor side with just the latest security patch included. This should have been released last week, with the delay affecting phones not really applicable to Wear OS.

Version 1.4 of the Pixel Watch app is rolling out this evening with minor visual changes to the companion client and the ability to link your Google Account.
