The past couple of releases of Android have seen the power menu become more of a utility with things like an emergency button. Now, in Android Q Beta 4, we were able to enable a new section in the Pixel’s gestures menu which points to Google Pay cards being added to the power menu.
Google Pay is getting a dedicated dark mode with the latest update, right ahead of the full Android 10 release, which we are expecting in the coming weeks.
In addition to credit and debit cards, Google Pay can handle airline passes, movie tickets, and transit cards. The payment service is now supported on Miami-Dade’s Metrorail transit system.
