Google launches Android 10, rolling out now to all Pixel phones

Six months after releasing Android Q Beta 1, Google today is rolling out the next version of its mobile operating system. Launching as “Android 10,” this big update introduces full gesture navigation, dark theme, and other machine learning-backed features that refine the user experience. The Android 10 Pixel launch will include all Made by Google phones released from 2016 onwards.

Google hardware announcement confirmed for I/O 2019 as Pixel sales drop in Q1 2019

Alphabet this afternoon reported Q1 2019 net income of $6.6 billion on $36.33 billion in revenue. The stock is down over 7% in after-hours trading following a revenue miss. During the earnings call, Alphabet CFO Ruth Porat noted a similar decline for Pixel sales. Google also confirmed the May 7th hardware announcement for I/O 2019.
